Mapping. An unfinished school donated by logging company ITB is transformed into the head quarters of the mapping project in the village of Manga with a population of 1800. With the help of satellite technology the tribal people map the forest they live in and have lived of in centuries. This way they hope to gain rights to the forest resources, protect themselves again industrial deforestation and perhaps acquire a share of the global CO2 credits. Manga, Equateur, DR Congo.
